Frequently asked questions

Everything about how Stella FTI Brands sources, sells and ships liquidation inventory. Still stuck? Call 732-702-1726.

General

What exactly does Stella FTI Brands do?

We partner with major US retailers to buy their liquidation merchandise in bulk and resell it in wholesale quantities to online sellers, brick-and-mortar stores, exporters and secondary-market vendors such as flea markets and pop-up shops.

What do "liquidation" and "liquidation merchandise" mean?

When retailers have merchandise they no longer want to sell through their own stores or websites, they sell it at a deep discount to liquidators like us to free up shelf and warehouse space. We pass that discount on to you.

Common reasons are overstock, seasonal changeovers, packaging updates and internal rules about how long product may sit on a shelf. The industry term "shelf-pull" covers all of these situations, and it is the most common type of inventory we carry.

Where are you located and where do you ship?

Our warehouse is at ${ADDR1}, ${ADDR2}. We ship throughout the continental US. We do not ship internationally, but we will ship to any US freight forwarder you choose.

Purchasing & sales

How do I place an order?

All orders are placed through this website. Browse the available lots, add what you want to your cart and check out. There are no price lists to request and no salespeople to call, although you are welcome to call ${PHONE} with questions.

Do I need a store account?

Yes. Every customer needs an account before purchasing so we can verify orders when necessary. You will be asked to create one at checkout if you have not already.

Do you sell products offline or do side deals?

No. The only way to buy from Stella FTI Brands is through this website, which keeps pricing the same for everyone.

What payment methods do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and PayPal online. Wire transfer is available for volume orders.

Shipping

What shipping options do you offer?

Three: standard ground for boxed lots, our Pallet Breakdown Service for pallets without freight, and freight shipping with lift-gate delivery.

How much does shipping cost?

It depends on the option, destination and what you buy. The easiest way to preview the cost is to add items to your cart and go to checkout; every available option is priced before you pay.

What is the Pallet Breakdown Service?

Freight is not for everyone. Many locations have no loading dock or pallet jack, and some carriers will not deliver to residential or rural addresses. With the Pallet Breakdown Service we split your pallet into boxes and ship it all by ground, so it can be delivered anywhere.

The charge is $360 per pallet, covering all shipping and handling. Choose it as your shipping method at checkout. Some pallets are freight-only and are marked as such on the listing.

Which items ship freight and how is it arranged?

Some pallet listings ship freight only. You do not need a loading dock, and residential delivery is fine. All freight deliveries include lift-gate service, so there are no extra charges to unload. The driver places the pallet at the curb or driveway; moving it inside is up to you. We book the carrier and you will be contacted to arrange a delivery window.

When will my order ship and arrive?

Boxed-lot orders ship within one business day of confirmed payment, and most arrive within 2 to 3 days of shipping. We are in Brooklyn, so West Coast deliveries can take a little longer. Freight orders generally take 3 to 6 days depending on carrier availability. No processing on weekends or holidays.

Can I pick up my order from your warehouse?

No. For security and operational reasons we do not allow warehouse pickups.

Products

Can I ask for specific items to be placed in my lot?

No. Lots are pre-made and items cannot be swapped.

Are your lots manifested?

Many are. If you see the Manifested badge on a listing, an itemized manifest is available to view and download on that lot’s page before you buy.

What condition should I expect?

Unless the listing says otherwise, our lots are shelf-pulls: unused items cleared from retail shelves at the end of a season or to make room for new stock. Packaging may show shelf wear. Returns and salvage are always labeled as such.

How accurate are the unit counts?

Unit counts on boxed lots are guaranteed to be within 2%. Pallet counts are stated on the manifest.

Can I return a lot?

Because of the nature of liquidation, we cannot accept returns. If there is a problem caused by a mistake on our part, contact us with your order number and we will make it right case by case.
